Monday – Friday: 4:00pm to 1:00am
Saturday: 2:00pm to 12:00am
Sunday:  12:00pm to 12:00am

As part of our commitment to the Palm Coast community, we’re excited to bring this new resource to pet owners and veterinary colleagues. At AEHV, AEHD, and now AEHPC, our mission remains the same: to provide trusted emergency and critical care when pets need it most.

Our fully staffed emergency hospitals in Ormond Beach and DeLand remain open 24/7/365.

Urgent & Emergency Care Services

Minor Injuries &Wound Care

  • Treatment for minor wounds, lacerations, and abrasions
  • Bandaging and splinting of minor fractures or sprains
  • Minor burn and skin infection care

Medical & Diagnostic Support

  • On-site bloodwork (CBC, I-Stat, clotting tests)
  • Urinalysis and fecal testing
  • Digital X-rays reviewed by a board-certified radiologist
  • Cytology (ear infections, skin masses, needle aspirates)

Respiratory & Cardiovascular Support

  • Oxygen therapy for mild respiratory distress
  • Blood pressure monitoring
  • Evaluation of coughing or mild breathing difficulties

Gastrointestinal & Nutritional Care

  • Treatment for vomiting, diarrhea, or mild dehydration
  • Inducing vomiting for toxin ingestion (if appropriate)
  • Anti-nausea and appetite stimulant medications

Pain Management & Minor Procedures

  • Local anesthesia for minor treatments
  • Wound cleaning, decontamination, and suturing
  • Splinting for minor orthopedic injuries

End-of-Life & Hospice Care

  • Quality of life assessments
  • Euthanasia services
  • Hospice and palliative care recommendations
